ForeverLand Illustrator
DeLaney Alfieri
Happy Friday, Fantasy Readers!
The weekly post with Chapter 3 is coming out at 5 pm today, but I wanted to send out an exciting announcement…
We have an Illustrator!
We decided to start with an image from Chapter One, so below you’ll find the opening scene of Saving ForeverLand:
Meet DeLaney Alfieri
DeLaney Alfieri is a 19-year-old artist, born and raised in Long Island, New York. Originally aspiring to be a photographer, creative expression was something that came naturally to her, and thus she became experienced in multiple media. Growing up with both ADHD and Asperger’s Syndrome, DeLaney relied on her artistic abilities to communicate otherwise unexplainable feelings. In her darkest times, she viewed her artistic ability as her “real voice”, and used art as an opportunity to learn more about herself emotionally. Despite her hardships, DeLaney has remained consistent in photography, voice, dance, creative writing, mural art, illustration, and much more!
Naturally ambitious and impulsive, DeLaney thrives in creative environments where there are no limits. Her art style is primarily sharp and bold, as she loves to work with unconventional color combinations and dramatic line weight. Her main sources of inspiration include, but are not limited to, Pokemon, Avatar the Last Airbender, SpiderMan: Into the Spiderverse, and Gravity Falls. Though she is fairly new to the world of illustration and storytelling, she has always been fascinated by the idea that an entire world can come from one mind with only one life to live, and simultaneously connect with multiple people who understand and connect with the story being told. Very passionate about these values, she hopes to be able to grow and improve steadily with the amazing world of ForeverLand!
DeLaney is currently working on the cover of Saving ForeverLand, which should be released in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, she’s doing illustrations for each chapter release.

This is so exciting! Congratulations.
We are so proud of DeLaney.
